Crazy puppy

I don't know what to do with this crazy dog. She is a bundle of energy and I have no idea how to keep her quiet. She has 5 more days and I do't know how we are going to make it. Her incision looks really good and is mostly healed. The swelling has gone way down as well. I can still feel her internal stitches though.

Help!!!

13 months old. She was spayed a week ago friday. She feels good and wants to run and play and I really can't keep her that quiet. We are not doing any jumping but I'm sure she would if I brought them out. The last week has not been too bad. She would sleep most of the day and have just a little bit of running around when I could not stop her, but now. At least it's been over a week.

Honestly, I gave up on keeping Spirit calm and quiet after a few days. It just wasn't going to happen. I could limit her stimulation all I wanted but all that happened is that she got herself more and more wound up, even in a crate. So I took her for long walks, took her shopping (and kept her in the cart), took her for rides in the car, did lots of trick training, and gave her tons of food toys. She definitely gained a bit of weight, but I figured I would be able to get that back off her once she was healed. The more immediate concern was keeping her entertained. I even took her back to agility class within the week BUT didn't let her participate in ANYTHING!!!!!!!! But at least she got to be out in the field and smell all the wonderful scents and watch the other dogs. It seemed to help relieve her boredom.

Lots of trick training! We used our neuter rest week to learn our 2o2o, "bow," wave, open/close doors, and put toys away

I have been working on obedience with her. She has always had a hard time with "stay" but I think she is starting to get it now.

There is no way I can keep her totally quiet though so we are just going to go with it and do our best.
