I lost him in April 2008 from heart failure. The tears are gone but sometimes my heart still aches from missing him. He was such a beautiful dog, sweet, gentle, smart, loving...one of a kind. Twelve years just wasn't long enough. I will always miss my "bug".

What a lovely tribute to Dakota !!:sadsmile: I know how difficult it is to lose that best friend. It hurts so much . I lost my soulmate, Jewel almost one year ago, and still have an empty spot in my heart for her. Give Noel an extra hug and keep her close.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I too lost my baby in April this year. I miss him dreadfully (and I'm ashamed that sometimes I call Bacca by Timber's name when I'm not thinking)

I love the tribute page you created. You will get alot of healing out of this. My 19 year daughter also died this year. Over the last couple of weeks, I've started on online photo albulm for her, inviting friends and family to submit. You cannot imagine how much this helps me.
