Nope Spitfire HATES snow, his belly fur turns to ice as do his paws. He does not have much clearance Ian is behind Mr Davy as he has yet to see any snow.
Oberon tolerates the snow-- barely. We had our first snow a couple of weeks ago; Oreo was just confused by it. He wasn't sure what to make of it, but it didn't seem to bother him a great deal.
I love to watch the pups first encounter with snow-- all of our shelties have jumped for joy- they bury their nose in it and sniff then sneeze they frolic - all of our have enjoyed it. To the point they often would go outside and lay in the snow rather than inside with the wood stove. Later as the newness wore off they would be MEH.. Love it when they try to catch snow flakes.. Their owner is not so happy to see it since he is the one that has to shovel it..wish I could teach shelties to shovel snow!!
