Well It was a good day , just about what I predicted on Thursday.
Round 1 S Standard 6 dogs in class, we were first on the line in the 16" class, It was a tough course 138 yds we took a first place with a clean run but missed a qual by 6.21 seconds, the other 5 dogs all faulted on course obsticals.
Round 2 S Standard, it was long & open at 148 yds First to go again, got a third with another clean no fault run, missed a Qual by 5.1 seconds, The 1st & 2nd place dogs Qualed.
So all in all a good day, 2 clean no fault runs, not a great one, as we still failed to Qual, but Cosmo was much better then at the first trial 2 months ago, Items we need to work on, dog walk, chute as usual,
and he was slow in the tunnels for some reason this time.
Anyway's I am pretty happy as there was definate progress from trail1 & a bit more speed just not enough for a qual yet, I figure if we can stay clean like we have been the Quals will come eventually.
Tomorrow Starters Snooker ( A first) & Starter Jumpers.
