I have no advice on the dry skin spots but you can post photos to any photosharing site (Flickr, Shutterfly, Photobucket, etc) and then copy the link into your post.
 
My 11 year old has had dry skin and hair loss for a few years, which has gotten a lot better since I put him on a canine senior multi-vitamin. I had used a veterinary skin supplement which didn't seem to help (and gave him an upset tummy anyway) and it was just by chance I tried the multi. Not sure if it will help you but it can't hurt. I've put my 10yr old on it too, although her fur is lovely and full so she probably doesn't need it. Not sure where you are and what brands are available to use, but the one I use is by Vetalogica.
