Dickens is Bathed: No Stay of Execution

:yuckyuck Thank you so much, you have me ROFLMAO. I really needed the distraction, I fell last Monday and broke my wrist and I am headed to surgery in a couple of hours, your post made me forget for a couple of minutes. Thanks again. :hugs
 
Poor Dickens! His legal representation was clearly unskilled, this should have been a slam-dunk case of double jeopardy. Dickens has been bathed several times before and this is cruel & unusual punishment for the simple crime of being a dog, with the normal odors associated with being a healthy dog who possibly occasionally rolls in dead things. There is no proof offered that Dickens has ever done that btw. In fact there is no proof he even smells at all, very troubling overreach by the prosecutor.


I really wish I had been contracted prior to this heinous act! I could have won a reprieve of at least a year. My legal skills are few but I can't sit idly by while this poor dog is cruelly washed over & over again in that chamber of horrors! His zoomies afterwards are pure relief from his anguish.

LOL; he had to settle for the public defender, who didn't really present a very good case.

Dickens is on parole now and has promised to go straight, but unfortunately, with this particular offense, the recidivism rate is quite high, especially amongst Shelties. It approaches one hundred percent!
 
I also love the after bath zoomies. I think The Belle's try to make sure that any surface likely to be touched by the evil human that administers the evil bath must be soaked as thoroughly as possible.
