When Cooper's dew claws were removed, he apparently squirmed and one of the rear dew claws wasn't properly removed. The Vet says it really needs surgery to completely remove. I'm fine with that. DH says we shouldn't tell the breeder, because this isn't a genetic issue and we bought that responsibility when we bought him. I think the breeder should know- simply for information sakes to watch for in the future- not necessarily to help us pay for it. But I don't know how to mention it without seeming to be accusing her. We didn't even notice it until he got a little older and bigger, because the claw is partially removed, so when he was teeny tiny- it was too.
Any advice?
