Does MacGreggor Weight Too Much

At 8 wks he weighted 6.6 lbs. Now at 8wks 5 days he weights 8 lbs. We feed him 1/2 cup three times aday and he still seems to be hungry. Are we feeding too much, not enought. Please help.

Many factors go into this. Since all dogs metabolisms are different as well as their body type, this is really a question that cannot be answered over the internet. Also, the type of food you feed factors in. If you are concerned, I would check with your vet at your next puppy visit. It does seem like a big difference in 5 days....but that could also be that you are using a different scale.
