the pups sleep in bedtime crates at the foot of my bed- I'm a light sleeper and any movement would wake me. Cran had a period when he did not want to go in his crate at night- and then Dixie came in and for crate cookies- she is down the hall and in her crate in a flash- Cran is now a very close second
Callie prefers the cooler living room/kitchen floors - not even a doggy bed
I'm sure that Nevis will adjust- it might take a little time though
