Eating other dogs poop

Well my husband and I decided that we are going to go with our main plan which is to set up two 10x10 kennels in our basement. That way 1) our husky won't poop since she not outside on the deck and will keep Odin from eating it2) We won't have to worry about our dogs being left out on the deck unattended 3) They will never have to be crated again. Although our sheltie (a giant pomeranian at 16lbs and 14 inches tall) and the husky will share one side of the kennel and our German Shepherd will have the other side. The total weight of the two sharing a side will barely make half of the German Shepherd's weight.

Ironically, Jake has recently started doing this, eating my other dogs. I try to pick up straight after he has gone, but it can be tricky at night when I cant see or if Im not here and someone else is who doesnt think to pick it up.

Yukky habit and Jakes breath does stink, just going to try and keep up the picking it and I have been told the pineapple does work so I am going to start feeding it the my other dog in hope.

What an obnoxious habit they've found!! Not only has he always kept his face to the ground scooping up whatever little piece of anything he can eat, he's now eating poop! *sigh

Every once in a great while, the cry will float through the house, "AAAAAAAAAUUUUUGH!!!! Poop kisses!!!!" :dead:

Yes, Indy's a poop eater too! He's also my kissy-face dog! Loves to lick faces! (Why, oh, why, couldn't it be Bacca who loves to kiss!) :eek2:

Any idea how much pineappler per serving?

I asked the vet assistant about this when we were there a few weeks ago. She does not believe its a nutritional thing.

Maybe our pups love their food so much, it's like getting "second helpings"? :biggrin2:

Yes sadly Jake is a face kisser, but I have explained to the kids not to let him kiss their faces for said reason :rolleyes2:

I think just a spoonful will work Barb. Let me know how well it works for you.
