How did you manage to get two measurements

How did you manage to get tow measurements on your dogs in same day in AKC?

We got both of ours on the same day as well. There were 2 VMO's that are both super gentle with nervous dogs at a local trial about 3 weeks before our debut so I took her to that show and got it out of the way. My dog is severely hand shy with strangers and I didn't want to mix the stress of getting her measured with her first trial. There are often 2 VMO's at shows here.

oh my yes, don't run into the judge! You, or your dog!

I learned in the Masters and Premier classes when you are a bar setter and a dog drops a bar... don't race right in there to re-set it unless you are SURE they aren't headed that way! Thank goodness the GATE GODDESS saw me and stopped me from possibly making a very big mistake!

You know I should probably start an agility journal and make notes of all these things I've learned. Like after your run go check the monitor to see if you Q'd and maybe ask to see your scoresheet (can you do that?) to see what the heck the judge called.

I don't know how they handle it where you are, but we either get all of our scores emailed to us after the show or we can check them on the Trial Secretary's website. Near as I know, the scores stay on the website for years.
