DH and I have been trying to figure out a quirk of Olive's that DH has a theory on but I'm not quite sure.
Olive has been wary of strangers, especially men. Looking at trends, we had thought it was a fear of men in hats. However over the last few months she has been been fine with some men in hats, and not fine with some men not wearing hats. It's not size or what they are wearing either.
She's reacted the worst to white males in their 20s, not particular on size or what they were wearing. DH's theory is that it has to do with eye-contact, mine has been physical type (fits with the area she was found in.) She has reacted the worst to three people: a good friend with one functioning eye but great with animals, my brother who won't look at her (he never seemed comfortable with dogs), and a friend of my brothers (though this might be her picking up on the fact my family does not care for said friend.) She isn't agressive but she will use what I interpret as warning barks.
