Can you recommend an obedience seminar that you really enjoyed?

Laura Romanik is coming this weekend, I am looking forward to learning everything she has to offer! She's had fabulous success with shelties, and an OTCh Beagle!

Sylvia Bishop hasn't been this way since 1998.

Most recently Celeste Meade was here but it was hard to work the small dogs with the bounce-bounce and finger pick ups that she likes. Can't beat her Sparky for enthusiasm and want to, though! We are working the nose bridge and brickwork that she shows on her website, good stuff for staying connected and those left turns...

I haven't seen Bridgett Carlson or Linda Koutsky who are on the seminar circuit, have you?

I haven't been to many seminars lately. Seems I always have to work. Last one I went to was Dee Dee Anderson and she did a good job. I have had alot of people tell me that they love Bridgets talks. I think she is coming in 2011 here.

You should enjoy Laura's talk. I wish I could go. Anyone who can train a hound to an OTCH has my respect.:smile2:

I loved Laura's seminar. Wow. She's organized and presented a terrific program. I hope she will hold a 3-4 day camp, I know I would get a whole lot out of it. Bobby and I are trying several things that she showed us.

Once we get to the level of fluency we want, the UDX quest will begin. :)

Glad you enjoyed it. Hopefully it will get you pumped up for your UDX quest.

Ember and I are going to try for our last UDX leg next Fri. We are only entered one day, wish us luck.:smile2:

Many wishes for that last leg!!!! How exciting! Wow, I can only imagine but that pretty little Ember is soooo worthy! (I've been looking at your video's)

Good luck, go GREEN!

Encouraged, I entered ASCA on Sunday to try for the last ud leg.. Having 2 ud's will mean I have to get on with the udx quest, right? :smile2:

So, thinking green for both of us this weekend!

Good Luck. Sending good thoughts. <Green> <Green><Green> and yes 2 UDs does mean you need to get on with the UDX quest.

My friend Rachel is starting her boy Pike on his UDX quest this weekend after a year break for retraining.:smile2: Pike is a wild child and she was hoping he would calm down a bit. But he turns 7yr in Aug and I don't think he is getting any calmer. I hope I get some video of him, he is a firecracker. Reminds me of Diva. He is her great Uncle.
