Also about the whisker trimming. My favorites are the black whiskers. The black ones are more wirey and more fun.

Come to my house. I have lots of sheltie whiskers for you to trim. I haven't trimmed Justice and Ember's since I stopped showing them. So not my favortie.

Well, if the dog doesn't like it then I don't worry with it, hence the reason I don't do Smudge's. He growled at me for doing it once, and so now the only whiskers I trim on him are the ones on his eyes and the annoying whiskers on his neck.

I love to trim Fluff's whiskers though. The crispy black whiskers are FUN.

Oh the dogs have no problem with it , I 'm the one with the problem.

I hate the pokey stage so it is either don't trim them or trim them weekly. Blah. Half Justice's are white and they are hard to see. Ember and Diva's are black.

Nah, I don't show, so I don't bother with the whiskers. Just one of too many things to control. I'm with Justice Mom....why have to deal with the stubble. Once you start, you kinda have to keep with it.

Funny story about whiskers - Hamish my sister had shown and of course she kept his whiskers trimmed. When I got him, I just didn't bother. When my older niece was up after I had had Hamish for a while, she looked at his muzzle and said "he's got whiskers". She would have been in her early teens at that point.

I love the pokey stage. I can threaten family members. I only trim Fluffy's whiskers. Fluffy loves everybody.
