FERGY and Laddie, not one of my best photos, please take into consideration my age. LOL
Astounding development with FERGY. He is 95% House broken and will hold it for more than five hours at night. Since we are supposed to be retired and have nothing in particular to do we are wearing ourselves out raising our Baby Boy with Laddie's help. He loves to ride in my pick-up and other than checking out everything outside he is perfect. Becoming more loving, when I pick him up he snuggles next to my neck and gives me a few kisses. Makes life worthwhile. I have snuggled more animals in my lifetime than most normal folks and it still makes my heart beat faster to receive those little kisses and some that were quite large from cattle and horses. We took FERGY and Laddie into our yard to weed flowers (Our main IRIS Bed) yesterday, they enjoyed it immensely and slept like a log last night. Guess who was rearing to go this morning?
I need to give some particulars about the IRIS:
An older couple lived behind our home who became very good friends. Carrie was an IRIS celebrity who had hundreds of show quality IRIS. They both passed away several years ago and he kept giving me IRIS transplants from his collection. Their son and his wife inherited the home. Three years ago they sold the home and told us they wanted us to have whatever we wanted from Carrie's collection. I won't go into much detail about the flowers value only to say that most of them were valued at over $100 per little piece of a bulblet. We have 200 mature plants from those small pieces we planted three years ago. The photo I am enclosing of the flowers is what those 200 "starts" look like today.
We have those fabulous memories and the unending love of an eight year old SHELTIE (LADDIE) and this fantastic baby boy FERGY. How? In this day and age could we possibly ask for any more.
