Finding Rymadil online

My vet sells me Rymadil @ 2,80$ a pill. Expensive. He said getting some online is a bad idea as there is no control over quality, etc...

Probably true to an extent, but come on, he sells the stuff, he's not going to tell me how NOT to buy from him.

What say you?

It can't hurt to look online, I don't know how much cheaper it will be. Don't forget to add taxes and shipping to the total cost, especially if you end up buying outside of the US.

Keep in mind though that you'll probably still need a prescription from your vet to buy it online. I discovered this when I was looking for worming meds for Sadie. Many sites will put your order on hold until they receive the prescription from your vet.

I managed to get around this but I'm not sure you'll be able to. The drug I wanted to order turned out to be prescription in Canada only and not in the US so I simply ordered it from a US supplier.

Good Luck!

Rymadil

I say buy it on line. Much Cheaper. I buy from Entirely Pets and it is less expensive than my vet. The hitch is they have to call your vet for prescription but that is true for anyplace that sells it on line.

I buy Rimadyl for my Kimmi online. I get it at PetCareRX and have been for 2 years. My vet encourages me to get it this way since she takes one every other day. I pay .79 a tab the .25mg ones. My vet is a close friend and he says hospitals and vets sell it more, well to make a profit. If your vet is charging you 2.80 a pill and you can get the exact same ones at a discount pet meds place the vet is making a nice profit on it All my pets on meds (thyroid and allergy meds) are purchased at PetCare and I have never ever had a problem with the quality of the meds. I do not pay shipping, or taxes and I always get a 5.00 coupon each time I order it through them
