You’re right!
Afterwards we sat in the living room and I sat on the couch. Finnie on one side Blueberry on the other and her head on my knee. She never does that…she was happy and at peace. Of course Piper was on the floor between my mom and I…keeping an eye on all of us.
 
Of course I’d say I’m the happiest.
And I had a minor run in with Donna yesterday that reminded me she’s still the same as ever. And her narcissistic twin Darlene was calling the hospital today trying to get information on my mom. My mom said someone from finances came to see her because she needed permission from my mom to give any information to Darlene and of course my mom said no.
Honestly they have zero intention of helping so they will never enter my house. I’d rather hire help if necessary than allow them in here.
They think I’m robbing my mother blind because that’s what they’d do. My mom said she wants to give me everything now…I said we already have a joint account lol. She’s just worried they’ll cause problems for me down the road. It’s all jealousy, of what I don’t know. Do they want to switch places and I’ll relax and take it easy and they can care for my mom? Honestly they’re both whacko.
But why not offer to help rather than causing problems?
And tonight the baby gates stay down…I’m hoping one of the dog’s goes to join my mom although more likely Blueberry will just go to sleep on the couch 🤣.
Crazy but I never realized how much I love my mom…I guess it’s true than you don’t know what you’ve got until it’s (almost) gone.

I am blessed with two great brothers. I was a little worried about the sister in laws as they kind of don't get along. But I will say when Mom passed they both stepped up 100%. Made bad times better. Sorry you will not get the same. If they are tools check your state laws. Here I could have dinged the estate I think 20% though I did 0%. Lawyer kind of sucked and told me later on (though it would not have changed anything) Give Piper a pet from us.
 
Great to hear you mom is back home and doing well. That was quite some welcome home celebration from your pack!
Similar family drama here too. Everyone wants to tell us what to do, but no one volunteers to actually do anything to help. I was really surprised that her son invited her to stay with them for a while.
So far so good....
