Yeah, same thing. I think since you are doing this when she is still young she will adjust quickly. Just give her some time. Buffy is always a little cautious when she is in a new place, and she was the same in the dog park.... now she loves the dog park.
Only advice I would give is trust your instincts and you can't be too careful. I mean like 95% of the people that go to a dog park are great but that 5% can really mess things up for everyone else. I have had a few scares... a few nights a golden retriever came up to us, did a bow but would not break gaze, headed toward us and just kept looking straight at Buffy menacingly... I picked up Buffy and avoided her pounce just in time. That was scary. I know sometimes I may be paranoid when I move Buffy or bring her to the small dog pen, but I would rather be too careful. A few of my friends' dogs have been scarred (behaviorally) by the dog park.
