Fish4dogs

Has anyone tried this brand of kibble for their fur kids? It's from UK. I wanted to find something that doesn't contain chicken to try on alfie. It's REALLY hard, almost all the brands I looked that are NOT chicken flavored contains some sort of chicken meal or chicken fat in it. I found this brand and decided to give it a try despite of all the talk about trace amounts of ethoxyquin present in all fish meal pet foods.

Just wondering if anyone else also feeds this kibble? I started alfie on it yesterday, poop is great, firm and less than NOW!. I'll update this thread once I feed a bit longer and see how it goes.

Day 3 and stool is still good. Slightly Softer than when I feed NOW! but still within normal consistency.

The fish smell is VERY strong, the dogs love it. But to Humans unless you Really like sea food, will find it a bit overwhelming lol

I note that this is an old thread from more than 6 years ago. For what it's worth, my 7 year old male sheltie had been eating Fish4dogs regular bite for the past 4 years with excellent results. His vet recommended this, after he suspected that he was allergic to kibble with meat.
