Flyer's first time

I entered Flyer in the beginner novice run thru's at the show 'n go. It was his first time. He did great, anticipated the recall, but otherwise he acted somewhat trained. :) He did not jump up and grab my wrist on the heel fast, but I could tell he thought about it.

This coming weekend, he is entered in Rally Novice, only on Saturday morning, because I'm a big chicken when it comes to dancing with somebody new. He's not as ready as I want him to be but this will let me know alot about what he can handle. A chilled bottle of bubbly awaits!
 
1st RN Leg, 98!

Success! We did okay on Saturday morning, Flyer was attentive and only barked a little bit ...

We earned a 98 and I had hoped for a placement but there was a 100, and a 99, then 4 98's... looking at the video, I am in slow motion, I was too terrified to step on the gas! There is the video link but not from my camera, a friend recorded and sent to me on Facebook with privacy settings. If you are my FB friend, you can see it... meanwhile I'll try to figure out how to post it here.

Sunday afternoon, both Justus and Flyer were on a rally team with our sheltie buddies Barbie and Colton. Our team scored a 398!!! Out of a 400! :) We were the 1st place team (2 teams competing) and very very proud of ourselves because Justus and Flyer contributed 100 scores to the team. Seriously proud of our friend Barbie, who is so sound sensitive and liable to flee should someone sneeze ... who brought in a 98 for team, AND FINISHED HER RA on Sunday!!!! Yay!!!!
 
he grew and grew! About 30 lbs, 18 inches is my guess! :)

I'm trying to remember how to post pictures ... will put some in the fuzzy spot when I get it sorted out. Just saw "gremlin" dog and thought oh! how familiar. :biggrin2:

He has not changed. Just as flaky and crazy as when he played with Justus and all the other big dogs :lol:
