Hi all,
i was in WalMart today and found an Oster Shedzilla...it's kinda like the Furminator but the blades are curved and only sharp in the inside edges.
The main reason I haven't bought a Furminator is because they do look SO wicked, even if used properly it looks scratchy. With the Shedzilla i can run it along my skin and it is smooth and un scratchy. LOL
I used it on both dogs and the long-haired cat..I really like it,it was much cheaper too!! i took some pics..hopefully they aren't too bad, i'm still getting used to my camera.
Lisa

Interesting--I need something like that for my long haired cat. He tends to get a little knotty but our CC brush doesn't seem to do the trick. Thanks for the review :)

Interesting tool. I have a furminator but only use it occasionally - usually when Indy grows a big pair of pants. So at most maybe 2-3 times per year. I would not use a brush like that more often. I prefer to rely on good ol-fashioned line-brushing.

Well it's April, and the temperature has soared to 29C here today! And still no shedding going on! I took the boys to the groomer two weeks ago and expected the major blow, but nothing! Even fuzzy-butt Indy is pant-free! Go figure?
