The dog was picked up at my house by Animal Control on Friday, January 20th. Animal Control will have this dog until January 26th and then will adopt it out unless the owner comes and picks it up. If this is your dog, please call Animal Control at 801-559-1100.

I sent an email to the UT rescue address listed on their site, but if anyone has contacts with this group, maybe they can pass it along?

Has the rescue group gotten back to you? I worry about senior dogs in the pound. Some pounds do not even try to adopt out seniors. Keep us updated.
 
Do we have any forum members near Salt Lake City, UT that could possibly check on him?

He looks like an old dog, probably was lost out there on the streets before he was picked up. (poor guy) (just look at that sweet face).
 
I just got an email from Salt Lake Animal Control and they said that the sheltie that was found as a stray has been reunited with his owner. Yay...
