Found Sheltie, Tx

Came home from dinner Friday night to this beautiful dog on my porch going through my trash. At first I though she was lost, but the more time she is with us it makes me think that someone dumped her off here (I live out in the country with only a handful of neighbors). I have posted an ad on CL, but havent heard anything from anyone. She is such a sweet dog and follows us around where ever we go. I have heard about dogs being stolen and then found several cities or even states away and I am hoping that someone is missing this sweet girl! She is sable and white, between 2-4 years (according to the vet), possibly spayed (again according to the vet she thought she felt a scar) and a little over weight and small (only about 2.5' tall).
I don't know how to post a picture

Ignore my post. I just noticed you said sheltie. The dog could be lost and then again it could be dumped. You can put a post on craigslist about a found dog. People leave out descriptions so dognappers don't get it. She sounds like she likes you a lot. If nobody comes forward to claim her will you keep her? If not a sheltie rescue can find her a home.

Sorry, found a lost posting on a texas-based rescue site, didn't realize it was lost in Tennessee.
Have you contacted Texas Collie and Sheltie , Houston Sheltie, Austin Sheltie or DFW Sheltie Rescues depending on what part of the state you are in? I can't recall if there is one in the western part of the state.

I have this lost Sheltie posted on my Facebook page but for some reason I can't copy the picture here. She was lost from New Braunfels, Texas, last week. Here's the listing:
