Funny Shaped Ears

This is very strange. I have been trying and trying to tip Ida's ears but one in particular just refuses. It actually tips BACK a little, and the other day I found out why. Above the brake of that ear is wider than below it:eek2:! I know it must be hard to imagine. The sides are nice and even and how they should be. It's like the bottom of the ear stopped growing but the tip continued. Now it's buckling so that its just slightly tipped backwards.
If you have been following all the problems I've had with this pup your probably thinking "WOW, WHAT NEXT!" From teeth problems to behavior issues, some my fault some not. And now EARS! What did I do this time! There's only so much a person can take!

Is there anything I can do for her! Next time you'll be finding out she's grown a second tail!

how are you tipping them currently? I don't know if this will help you, but my 16 week old pup has two different sized ears, ones really wide one is not at all. we were gluing to his ear hair at the bottom, but his ears went too floppy on the thin one. Now I use moleskin inside the ear and glue to that. IDK if it will help you though but just a thought.
 
I use Zonas/Japanese tape and Tear mender glue. I think the tape is cutting of the blood circulation on the break. I thought about instead of using one long pice up and down her ear using two pieces, one on the tip and one below the break. How do y'all do your puppy's ears?

If you do a search ive posted quite a few threads on it, with diagrams for the Japanese tape courtesy of MissJenneygirl:wink2:.
 
I couldn't find anything around here, and I ended up using false eyelash
adhesive, it worked well for me for Lil' Lady. Now if they are correct that is another story, but they look fine to me. I quess that counts.

Lucky was so darn cute with one ear up and one down, it just fit his personality WUZ UP?

Ears aren't always easy, good luck, I hope it all works out for you.
