Getting anxious

So, we've been on a list for a breeder. And she has a litter due on Sunday. She has several people who want a girl, but we are the only ones who want a boy, so we'll get first choice of boys. We've chosen the name Cooper. We just need to get the one with what DH calls a "Cooper" attitude. NO IDEA WHAT THAT MEANS, but I love the name. There is another litter due July 14, which is Annabelle's birthday, but I want Cooper to be in this litter.

I'm getting anxious about all of the puppy things. Are we really ready to do this again? Will the poor guy be able to do anything with the three Belles mothering him to death? Is it stupid to already have a name? Annabelle already had a name. Clarabelle's was picked out two years before she was born. So, probably not. Dear Heaven's housebreaking, letting out in the middle of the night. Teething. I'm gonna hyperventilate.:gaah

I missed puppyhood with all of mine. You are very brave to take it on, but I bet the cuteness overwhelms all.
 
You'll do fine. Relax. Puppyhood lasts such a short time but is so worth the wait. And you have adult dogs to show Cooper "the ropes" and how to behave like a well-mannered obedient dog. :smile2:
 
Just sit back and relax, as many others have already said, you will do just fine. And yes, puppyhood goes by so fact, don't blink or you will miss it. With the help of the Belles, "Cooper" will do just fine and will settle into the family life in no time. Good luck and please don't forget, SN MUST have pictures!! :fl :smile2:
