Any good horse tack shop should be able to fix or shorten a collar. I've found them invaluable when I need something custom. I usually make a rough sketch, and a good harness maker can make it happen.

Just came across this. These are SUPER expensive, but more along the lines of what I think is ideal for a dog with a rough like a sheltie or collie.

I don't mind the price....leather collars like that will last a lifetime!

Thanks, I'll check that out! I'm not sure if the braiding will be a problem. When I look closely at the design, it looks like Shannon has a special technique to braid the loop right into the strand itself.
