Greetings from Western MD

Welcome and so sorry to hear of your losing Mocha. They definitely leave "forever" paw prints in our hearts. You're girls are beautiful!!

Welcome to the forum! Have you contacted Linda at No. Chesapeake Sheltie Rescue yet? I volunteer with this wonderful group. They have about 20 Shelties now looking for homes. Not sure if any will win your heart, but worth a look. Also try No. Va. Sheltie Rescue. Another great group with lots of adoptable dogs.

Good luck in your search.

As you can see by my avatar, we have three Shelties. Two of them are currently in agility training and the fat little guy tags along for fun!

No, I hadn't contacted NCSR. I believe I did contact NVSR via email, but didn't receive a reply.

Since 2 of ours had been adopted from PSSR, and the other from Baltimore rescue, we tried there first, plus we looked at one from the sheltie rescue in Frederick, MD. My wife was pretty stuck on one or two from PSSR, so we're taking a trip tomorrow. We'll probably adopt one.... maybe two. What the heck!

My wife has already warned me that if we win a big PowerBall or MegaMillions, we would have our own sheltie rescue. I still have mixed emotions about that one!
