Growling and snarling!

Our backyard is a muddy mess, so whenever Megan goes out there, I have to wash her feet off . Lately when I wash them off, (and I am very gentle), she growls and shows her teeth while I rinse, dry them off. I don't know if it's because she hates having it done or if it hurts, though I don't see how it could I have examined her feet, pads, fur, nails etc and see nothing and she doesn't react when I do this.

Try treating when you go to wash to feet. This will make it a pleasant experience for her instead of her feeling negative about it.
