We used Rescue Remedy with our first Sheltie. It helped take the edge off for her. There is only one product here regardless for humans or pets.
Shelby though loves Halloween. Unfortunately we do not get any trick or treaters here at our new home, way to rural. So last night in our "down town" they close the main street for a few hours for a "Merchant" trick or treat. This is a college town and that street is nothing but vendors. All the vendors hand out candy to the kids, all the fraternities and sororities have tables handing out candy. Some of the food vendors cook and sell food right on the street etc. it really is like a big family friendly Halloween party. We took Shelby dressed in her firefighter coat and she absolutely loved it! Everyone wanted to pet the "fire dog". The little kids adored her. There were well over 1000 people there. Shelby was so very well behaved, didn't even try to steal any candy from the little kids, said hello to all the other dogs walking around. Maybe next year I will enter her in the costume contest.
