Hanna Mondays ~ Week 20

Miss Hanna is 5 months old today!

As you can see she still loves her doggy bed but it is getting a little small for her. In the photo where she is standing that first stone is 11.5 inches tall and that's how tall she is at the shoulder.

I'm going to have to go back to treats for sitting and nothing is free - as she takes her good old time unless I have a treat in hand in which case she's lightning fast ( especially on the down). We had a whole week of no accidents indoors and I blew it last night ( got to involved playing a computer game and lost track of time and Hanna).

We have given up on the ears - hubby thinks it's ridiculous and the neighbours, our very occasional wonderful dog sitters, agree. I'm outnumbered! She's adorable regardless! I just love the dark markings on her back and she has the cutest face ( biased I know).

We have a cuddlebug on our hands, this is the first sheltie who actually likes to sit on my lap and not just nearby. We usually sit in my reading chair every night for for 30 minutes to an hour, she sleeps in my lap or on the ottoman with her chin on my legs.

So far the only barking we get is when she wants to play. She loves her squeeky toys and isn't bothered by the doorbell, phone, lightning, or any other noises.

How adorable she is!

When I had the pup I did weekly & monthly pix. So amazing to watch them grow up.

Hang in there on the training. She's working on training you as much as you training her! You could try clicker training (LOL after my huge discourses on the clicker - Seriously, just kidding on that.)

I would always be kissing that little face. Of course, I know better because they work the cute and turn into tyrants. Melli has even gone through that phase with us and we have worked through her push-the-limit phase

What's she gonna be for Halloween?

I'm actually going to try the clicker (bought one). Hubby is going to be away almost all of Nov, so it's just going to be the 2 of us - lots of time to train.

I doubt very much that we'll get anyone here for Halloween - only 3 houses in my subdivision and not many people know we're here, so Hanna isn't going to dress up.

Lucky you! I'm jealous! I get one hug and some nose kisses in and Fillion is off my lap! *sigh* He is choosing to sleep at the foot of the bed now that its cool though.
Now Koko is a total lap slug. If I pick him up, he will lay on me for hours if I let him. All 25 lbs of him :smile2:

If it was Candy Crush I totally understand :biggrin2:

She's so cute! They really do get attached to their puppy beds. Pyper was still cramming herself into hers at a year old. I finally found an identical bed in a little bigger size. Here she is, still crammed into her baby bed.

Love the giraffe pillow - this is why we have shelties they do stuff that make us smile and forget whatever crap we are dealing with.
