I am in Punta Gorda. I am below Sarasota right across the bridge from Port Charlotte, north of North Fort Myers. I just moved here after 13 years in Naples, 90 miles south of where I am now.

I am a good couple hundred miles from them, but something about her is precious and I would drive today to pick that beauty up and bring her home, she melts my heart.

actually I am- that is the rescue that I got Callie from.
My suggestion would be to contact Sunchaser and see if the two rescue groups could work something out for you.
Gulf Coast Sheltie & Collie rescue is very small and only have a few volunteers in the specified area for home inspections. The two ladies who run the rescue brought Callie to my house so I'd guess that's also a factor in the adoption area.

I lived in FL like 20 yrs ago- on the east- Melbourne but I had friends in the Tampa/St Pete area and also some in Ft Myers though I didn't spend much time down there.
I hope that you can give Hannah her forever home

I have checked for a week now and Hannahs pic is gone, I so hope that means she got a home. I am so happy to think she now has a momma or poppa.
