Has anyone used Muttluks?

Mally's Mom suggested I check the website Dr. Shelli suggested to Seamus' owner. I did and they have boots they sell in singles. I don't have to buy a set of four when Little Lottie only needs one. She's napping right now (and snoring!), but when she wakes up I'm going to measure her foot and order a boot. Wish us luck!

You are so kind to take the time to respond so thoughtfully.

Yes, I was thinking of only booting the foot in need. I understand your concern, but I don't think it will be an issue. The way her foot has healed she's already off kilter. Actually the doctor said that has added to her arthritis issues. Perhaps the boot will help her even up some. That would be an added bonus!

I was also thinking that the fleece version would be a better choice. Plus I can get pink!

No problem at all :) Give us an update after you end up buying/using them and tell us how it goes!! Again, I wrote all that just to LET YOU KNOW, the decision is all up to you! If you think one boot is what your sheltie needs then I'm sure one boot will work fine for her needs. I'm so sorry to hear her missing pad has added more discomfort through arthritis, hopefully (any kind of) boots help soon! <3 Much love, Precious and Michelle :D

Did you ever get some boots for Lottie?

Sadie wore Muttluks on her back feet after her stroke. She could not stand on smooth surfaces without them, as her back feet would just slide out from under her. I seem to recall that they have some sort of lining, but I don't remember how thick they were.

They may have been winter ones because I found them to be kind of bulky, but they stayed on if I did the velcro up tight enough. Sadie didn't mind them since they helped her to stand, I don't know if they'd bother Lottie though.
