Hi Folks!
Tex is our 7 month old Sable. We made a road trip all the way up to Oklahoma to pick him up driving a total of 18 hours to do so roundtrip. He has been worth every minute of that trip!
Here's a recent pic of him:
I've always loved Shelties growing up. We lost our beloved flat-coated retriever about a year ago to cancer. In the Fall we began our search for a new family companion. The search lead me to Rough Collies. On visit to a breeder nearby, my wife and kids were also introduced to the breeder's Shelties and they instantly fell in love with the breed! The rest is history!
Tex loves to play fetch with tennis balls and frisbees. He also likes to herd giant kickballs in the backyard! He's been a joy to work with in obedience. We've also have started some senior pet therapy work and have begun some agility training as well.
