Hello from Newfoundland!

Hi From Alaska

Gail,

Hello from Alaska, I am a very new member. I am near retirement (we) and am obsessed about visiting Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, and PEI with an eye on spending part of each year there. Maybe we can chat later! I have just one Sheltie, the exciting news is this week we are adopting a 5 year old retired girl from a great local breeder. She is a Bi-Blue Merle. We have not added a dog to the family in almost 16 years. I didn't think anyone was as Sheltie crazy as me, but you will find them here!.... Welcome.

Welcome -- so happy to have more Canadians. (I have the Canadian student in my class this year at ICAF.)

Hi Dale,
Newfoundland is quaint, rugged but beautiful. I'm sure Alaska has beautiful scenery as well! We are told that Newfoundlanders are the most friendly people that CFAs ("come from aways" :wink2:) have ever met! I am absolutely in love with our East Coat hiking trails which run along Atlantic coastline for about 300 km. I am retiring later this year as well after almost 37 years working! Jesse and Kalli are really looking forward to me having more time to take them hiking.

I live in eastern Newfoundland, Canada and love to take my 21 month old male Sheltie, Jesse, hiking on our beautiful East Coast Hiking Trails.

Hi Gail ...welcome from Sydney NS (just a ferry trip away)! I visited your album - your Shelties are beautiful, as well as the walking trails!

Hiking is by far one of my favorite things to do with my sheltie girls. They just absolutely love getting out on the trails.

It is great to have you with us.
