Hello everyone at Sheltie Nation!
I've been reading the threads on Sheltie Nation for a few months and thought I'd join in the fun.
I've been a dog enthusiast my whole life but have always had a soft spot for shelties. When my parents purchased our family's first dog, a sheltie, seven years ago I just new that I had to have one of my own!
Sadie is 8 months old now, my husband and I adopted her when she was a 10 week old ball of fur. Sheltie puppies are so irresistible!
I've been having so much fun with her, she's kind of become my hobby as well as my fur child. We've been doing pre-agility for that last 3 months and can't wait to compete. (Its going to be a long year!) I can't believe how far she's come along in such a short time, she loves it so much and has such drive to train, I only hope I don't hold her back since I'm learning too. We're also training for flyball, I think it would be so much fun to be part of a flyball team some day.
