I used to live in Kelowna with my collies too ...but moved down to the Island about 8 years ago 
eek2: wow! it's been that long?!) and now also have a happy happy sheltie bouncing around our house. Not sure I'd go so far as to say he's charmed our old collie, but she hasn't killed him yet so I think that's a good sign
