A puppy is a 10-18 year commitment. If you aren't feeling connected to one of these pups, then the right thing to do is to wait and keep looking.
I totally agree! If it doesn't feel right, don't do it. Everyone, pup included, needs to feel good about it. I made that mistake when I brought Ginnie home. I so wanted a blue merle, and the breeder also really felt that Ginnie would do well with another pup - we both deceived ourselves and had to bring her back after 1 week.
Good luck! You'll find your perfect pup soon, I'm sure. But to rush into it is a big mistake!
