Thanks to some good "food for thought" from all who responded - here is what is helping - tied treats to string and hung it from the door knob. Some improvement so will keep that going and adding other ideals. It is definitely the door opening and closing, so will open and close while she bobs. She is going to be a fat dog from so many treats!

The age of five month is for all breeds a critical age because it is mostly the month were they handle/face their fear. It also shows them how to handel it in future.
You told that she have this fear a long time. Please reflect what are you thinking when you hear the door meanwhile.
It is important that you enjoy the sound of the door. Go happy (not super exited) to it and return with a toy starting a play time (no fat dog).
You are the leader she have to learn trusting your leadership. Do not think about negative reactions -no past - no fear- the future is yours.
