Help Needed in MA Finding Party

Party, the little bi-blue Sheltie lost June 15 from the Topsfield, Massachusetts dog show, has been sighted again this morning near the area she's been staying in for the last week. Her handler, Jessica Starbuck, is coordinating the search for her but needs help from any volunteers who can either lead the rescue effort or meet tomorrow morning to help capture Party.

If you live in Massachusetts or nearby and can help, please PM me privately and I'll put you in touch with Jessica. Thanks to anyone who can help!

Also, I know that this is quite taxing to Jessica who is having to stay in hotels, etc...while she searches for Party.

I know that there are other ways that we can help--I sent a small donation to help with Jessica's costs (for the traps, etc...)

She and Bella (Party's co-owner, I believe) have promised to donate any leftover money to rescues.

Donations are appreciated, but at the moment what they need is volunteers. They need people to check and bait the traps and coordinate with the other volunteers. Granite State Rescue is meeting tonight in Topsfield with their large kennel trap to coordinate setup, but volunteers are needed for the day-to-day routine of checking the area.

If you or anyone you know in the Massachusetts area can help with this, please let me know.

I wonder if contacting the North Shore Australian Shepherd Club would help. They are in Merrimac MA which shows to be about 15 miles away.

Continued prayers that this poor baby is captured quickly and returned home!! Watching this thread daily for updates. Fingers and paws crossed!

Thanks to everyone for your prayers and support! I'm so glad Party's ordeal has a happy ending. I'm closing this thread now since the need for help is over and she is on her way home!
