My dog has started to "back jump" and I don't know how to fix it. I'll send him away to wrap a jump and instead of landing and coming around the upright, he lands, turns on the spot and repeats the jump coming toward me. I've started working wraps on the flat with a cone as a refresher, but it doesn't seem to translate back to jumps. Any advice??

Have you tried videotaping yourself and your dog during a training session to make sure you aren't somehow indicating for him to back jump?

Yes, videotaping is definitely your friend! If you don't see anything, practice wrapping around the jump upright, then practice multi wraps around the single jump itself.

I had the same thought. My first thought was that you are somehow cueing the back jump. When my dog back jumps it's always because I didn't properly support the wrap around the pole and cued the jump instead.

Video of you and your dog would definitely help us advise you.
