Home Visits: What do rescue groups look for?

This Little Guy Breaks my Heart

I'm so sad looking at all of the photos of the dogs who were taken in by my local sheltie rescue from a hording/cruelty situation. They look so frightened and sad.

This one specifically makes me want to cry. The expression on this little guys face just breaks my heart. Like he's saying 'I just want to be friends with you so PLEASE don't hurt me!' Yet he's still wagging his tail.

Wow, what a scared little face! :mad: I feel sorry for the rescue - they could probably really use some volunteer foster homes, in the meantime. It may take a while to get these guys adoptable if they were mistreated.

I know how you feel, I'd like to gather them all up and take them home too. Just hang onto your faith that some good folks out there will give them loving homes. After all, you are getting one soon! :smile2:
