How do I stack?

I know I am not allowed to show my dogs, but, I would love to learn how to "stack" I would love to see them this way and take pictures of them, they are so beautiful, and to be honest, I would love to show them off in a "show position"

Any help will be appreciated.

To get pics of your dogs in that "show" position takes 3 people. One is the photographer, one holds the dog and the other person is in front of the dog getting their attention so they are "up". I got lucky when I did Noahs picture last time I was ready to give up as I was missing that 3rd person to get him "up" when someone came walking by and grabbed his attention. It was perfect..thank goodness for digital cameras is all I have to say!

Now to get them stacked most dogs will stand where its comfortable. Its all about building muscle memory so that a 4 square feels natural for them. Alot of breeders use either a stacking box or happy feet to help train. You can also try doing it on a grooming table so it is easier for you and your back. Just start by standing them and placing their feet where you want them, command and treat.

Thanks for the advice. Bella's previous owner said she was a devil to stack even when they showed her, she would NOT stand still. Oh well, I just want to learn so I can get some great pictures, if they do not do it right, that is OK too.
