Hurrahs for hedgehogs

The post person delivered the stuffed hedgehogs yesterday and the girls went ape. They lie on their backs and try to juggle the cuties, they play paw the hedgehog, and pass the hedgehog and when one of them squeaks it they get all excited and pounce on them, or chase the hedgehogs down the stairs works. I have always wanted a real hedgehog as a pet, friends have given me hedgehog collectibles. So it pleases me that the girls like the new ones. They are just the right size.

I want to get the squirrel toy mentioned on the other post that takes batteries, and I probably will sign up for bark boxes, anything to occupy the girls in this season of cabin fever:biggrin2:

You'll love Barkbox! Oberon's been getting one for almost a year now, and we adore it. I almost never have to buy him toys. I'm definitely signing up for another year -- and am investigating other boxes for him as well.

I get a variety of subscription boxes for myself, and he always knows which is his box. When his comes, he sits patiently by my side as I open it, knowing that he gets the goodies inside. When mine come, he ignores them entirely.

It would also be a little more "dog-like" :lol: than her little cat toy - a little mouse which squeek (whine)
 
I've been wondering about the barkbox subscription. Maybe I'll try it based on the good feedback here :biggrin2:

The link you posted for the hedgehog isn't working for me, and there are several different Kyjen hedgehogs. Which one do you have?

I love getting Barkboxes for Spirit. There was only one time that they sent what I felt was a low quality toy, and Spirit was able to pull some threads off of it. I was worried she would injest the threads so I took the toy away and notified Barkbox. They gave me a credit toward a new toy that included shipping. I love that they send a variety of different toys and treats, and even have options for dogs that have allergies.
