But Central Illinois Sheltie Rescue has a post on her Facebook page about a Sheltie that was found in TN at a rest stop, rehomed to MI but the new owners are trying to find the old ones. There is a picture of the dog in her post.

If anyone knows how, can you post that here so others can see it, please and thank you very much!
 
Anyone recognize this dog? What a story!
Dog was found at a Rest Stop in Tennessee, and taken to Michigan and rehomed. Thank Goodness new owners are honest and are looking for old owners. Dog had no ID, and NO microchip. So far no one is claiming the dog. Dog is safe, and DOES have a home if no owner is found.

More specific information -
This guy was found in Athens TN at a rest area, was picked up and given to a couple heading back to MI from FL that had stopped at the rest area, the dog is with them in the metro Detroit area. We are looking for an owner in TN, have folks posting flyers and placing ads in papers there. If no owner ever shows, the couple would like to keep him.

So this dog was found in Tennessee, and that's most likely where his owners are located. People on the facebook post seem to be getting confused about where they should be looking for lost dog signs.
