So I have a one and a half year old boy Sheltie (Hamilton) that just lights up my world. He is my first sheltie although my husband had one growing up. Now I am hooked!
Next week I am picking up his new baby brother!! This little nugget is 5 months old and I cant wait to get him in my arms!

I am just trying to pass the time by reading stuff on the forum. Help!
Also any tips for introducing a new sheltie puppy? I am not too worried because Hammy LOVES other dogs. I just hope he doesn't intimidate the little guy. He can be kind of bouncy...

I love puppy fever & puppy breath. Hamilton is an awesome name imho! Give them their individual space, and make sure they know they are getting equal time. When I brought Savannah home, Kaleigh even though she liked her, got a bit moody and weird. Kaleigh is my moody one. So I tried to reassure her. She was 8 mths and Savannah was 8 weeks. They worked it out, and now they are a team. There are times of sibling rivalry. Savannah is the diva, and she needs curbed at times. Wishing you the absolute best, with a smooth adjustment!!! You are entering the double trouble, double fun, double entertainment zone:D

Yes! I love puppy bellies! Thank you! Hamilton is slowly growing into his name. He was such a goofy puppy. We are thinking about naming this puppy Sherman!
Its hard to imagine the tag team trouble they are going to get into!

Sherman is another good one! Believe me they will learn fast how to play their humans, but such fun when you KNOW they are doing it. Life is good when you live it through the eyes of a sheltie.:)

My advice is be prepared. And I don't mean about the normal puppy things (cords are safe, etc) I mean watch out. When there is more than one sheltie, they team up on you. Two shelties brains are smarter than one. And two sheltie brains can figure out how to get into a LOT of mischief. It's scary. And five sheltie brains- just give up.
