I really do. I have renewed my love for it.
Little Juliet is a noise maker. 24/7. From the minute she wakes up which, at 7:30 am in the morning, is probably not what my neighbours want to hear or be jolted awake by. I would have to say "quiet" several times before I got dressed for work! Very stressful and having to always run for treats to reward her quietness is disruptive to my morning routine!
Last night I had an epiphany. I remembered how it was that I got Romeo to learn to be quiet in the mornings. He is generally quiet even now unless Juliet provokes him.
KONGS! (This is not an ad. I don't work for them, really.)
I filled 2 kongs with some raw minced meat (that had Vibrant Pets mixed in) and left them in the freezer last night.
This morning, the minute I (and the dogs) got up, I ushered them to their peeing area then immediately went to get their Kongs. NOT A SQUEAK came from either of them after that!! I could go through my morning ritual in absolute silence. They were hard at work trying to get the frozen meat out. What a great morning!
Guess what's going to be in the freezer again tonight!
Thought I'd share in case any one of you might be facing a similar demanding attention-seeking furry little problem!
