I was a bed dog for half the night.

So I got vatered up to the sheep bed. Now I have plenty of caves I circulate through during the night. And I use my perfect night camo color (unlike that orange monster who is easy to spot) for best effect. But I don't get on the sheeps bed often. It is comfy once he steals the covers but would be really nice comes winter. So after I got vatered down I went in my gray beds and it was like I was not there. Sneaky Ian rules!!!

Ian the starved.....maybe I is to invisible and need to bump the sheeps leg like the orange horror.

He got locked out of the bedroom last night. He came in then scooted out of the gate before I latched it. Didn't notice. This morning he was barking to get in with me and Spitfire. My bet is he stood by the gate and monitored all night. Spitfire was in front of his fan close by, I was out of sight.

Pico would be soo mad if I kept him out of my bedroom! And he barks.
He sleeps mostly in his crate, sometimes on my bed (less in summer), often in the dog bed next to my bed, and in the hallway.
I am sure he would sleep on the couch but that isn't close enough to me to properly monitor my potential activity.

As a shaded sable, his only effective camouflage is outdoors LOL.

Snow..... Ian is funny he doesn't bark .....OK that is a lie. Barking is for food and running with the neighbor dog. So if he barks indoors that means something. Spitfire on the other hand barks to demand service... except that was part of how he got his name. He was in the back yard and I came home to no Spitfire, panic time. I called and searched nothing. Checked and checked when I thought I heard a small whimper. Call again....is that him? Now I am trying to figure where he could be. Under the trailer, nope ..... Seems he jumped into the trailer when the door blew open (he was not latched 100% and when the door was blew shut there he was. When I opened the door I got an about time stink eye supreme. One of many antics before he got his name.

they never bark if they're trapped somewhere or you are looking for them- too many stories there....
the best that one of mine does is Reggie- he's not a fan of the smooth wood steps at my brother's house. I think he was going too fast the first or second time and slipped so he didn't want to do them down- he'll go up in a heartbeat which is the problem. when he goes up and can't come down- he did start whining up there so at least I could find him and carry him back down. now that he's a big boy, we worked on going down the steps this summer:yes:
