Thanks everyone. I will check out the DVD's. Maybe my club has them too. I cant' really afford to buy them now or even go to PT, so I'm hoping what I'm doing is okay.
Yesterday I had practice. We got there about 30 mins early. I walked him around, ran, played, etc. Then stretched out his rear legs (and mine too). Then I had to set-up, so in his crate he went (now I'm really liking that I got a huge crate so he doesn't get too tight just lying there). I warmed him up again when practice started and when before we ran. And stretched him and me again.
Considering after all that, my calves are tight as are my quads, I wonder how much it helped or didn't help him. We got home, I stretched us both out and since he was seriously, out cold by then, I wrapped an ice pack around his leg. I hope I was icing the iliopsoas. lol. And iced myself too. I should tell hubby to walk him a bit today and stretch him afterwards.
I just hope it's not going to become detrimental to his physical health. I'd hate to have to retire him early.
