this weekend put on by Lori Drouin! I am so excited :) I've heard great things and she is one of the very few presenters that has Shelties!

I am just going to audit, I think ;) But It'll be a blast one way or the other! Looking so forward to picking her brain. If anyone can think of good questions to ask, let me know and I'll ask em and report back :D
 
If you all have never heard of her, check out her website. there are great ideas there and after the seminar, I must say, I am impressed!

If you're having difficulty with heeling (like I see many threads are about) check out her 12 step heeling program! Absolutely think it is a great way for those of you having difficulty and not wanting to give traditional collar corrections. Lori knows shelties! She has a book too, but only available through her (not dogwise or amazon etc). Wonderful ideas! If you ever see an opportunity to attend her seminar or have your club bring her, she was great!
 
I would love to her about the 12 step heeling program. Beckon may have to join "Heelers Anonymous." :lol:

I wish but our club is very heavily skewed to agility- the only time we get any obed info is if the speaker does both and splits the time.
 
I watched some of her videos on line. I really like her heeling techniques. I'm starting a modified version with Lexi and Pyper. It is working very well. Can't wait to hear about the seminar...
