I've been studying all the information on this forum pertaining to Interceptor replacement, and am really worried about this issue as I have 8 elderly shelties-several with medical issues. I hesitate to get all 8 tested for the MDR-1 Mutation to be assured that Heartgard Plus would be a safe alternative, as the cost would be tremendous. It seems that Revolution is one of the most recommended alternatives.
I always give my Interceptor at the beginning of each month, and Frontline Plus in the middle. Is it safe to give Revolutiion within two weeks of applying Frontline Plus?
I will run out of Interceptor after my Aug. 1st dose, so I am getting really concerned(if only I had known this was gooing to happen, I would have stocked up .)
